James T. Jarvis has over 25 years’ experience in planning, design, financing and environmental analysis of airport ground access systems. He works with local, state, and federal agencies to plan and secure funding for surface transportation network improvements including highways, transit, and multimodal facilities designed to improve access, mitigate traffic congestion, and reduce mobile source emissions of airport-related vehicle trips.
He has extensive experience in public policy development and in developing demand management strategies to reduce landside impacts of airport operations, which has led to the funding and implementation of new transit systems and high occupancy vehicles programs serving large-hub airports. Prior to joining Ricondo in 2000, Mr. Jarvis was Manager of Transportation Planning for the Massachusetts Port Authority, owner/operator of Boston-Logan International Airport.
